Colorstrip is a granular sampler. It was designed to suit your sound design needs and excels at complex operations in loop slicing/destruction, but can also perform simpler tasks. Rearrange your samples slice per slice and totally alter them using the granular synthesis engine.
An Intuitive interactive interface will allow you to construct new loops on the fly with just a of clicks. Colorstrip comes packed with a special time stretch technique to keep everything in sync with your host and also contains a flexible buffer exchange system to copy/paste almost any parameter between scenes and presets.
Eight colors represent eight slices. You can set the start position for each slice individually just by moving the colored dots on the sampler’s window. Each sliced area has a plethora of settings, which you can adjust using the parameter cells beneath the sampler. The Slice Sequencer on the upper side of the instrument controls the order of the colored slices. Alternatively, you can also recall slices via MIDI. Lastly, there is a Scene Sequencer to control the sequence of the internal snapshots (8 scenes), thus you are able to make really long and intricate arrangements.
